The ‘Padmaavat’ controversy: After facing the wrath of Karni Sena, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone finally released in the year 2018 thereby thrashing the box-office with its victory run in cinemas.

Salman Khan sentencing: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was finally sentenced to five years of imprisonment by a Jodhpur court in the 19-year-old blackbuck poaching case.
The incident took place in Kankani village near Jodhpur on October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of Bollywood film “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.
Salman also spent two days in jail while the other four co-accused stars — Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Neelam — were acquitted of all charges.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone Wedding: After dating for almost six long years, lovebirds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got hitched on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy in an intimate wedding ceremony.
