Aamir Khan Apologizes for PK

The recent Blockbuster hit ‘PK’ achieved the title of ‘All time Blockbuster’ with it’s astonishing box office performance. apologies to their audience who were offended by the film’s subject.

In his recent press interview Aamir said, “Clearly the film has been loved by a lot of people and that is the reason why it is such a big hit. So I am very happy about that. But I will speak for myself and not on behalf of Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra when I say that I feel very sad when even one person was hurt by our film. If someone has not liked the film, that’s a different thing. But if someone is hurt because of our film, I feel sad because that wasn’t our intention. We said what we had to. But if anyone was hurt, I would like to apologize.”

He further explained in support of the film… “I completely stand by what we said in the film. I am not apologizing for what I said in the film. I am apologizing for having hurt someone’s feelings because that is absolutely not our intention. Each one of us has got a different opinion and I want to respect your opinion. It may be completely different from mine. But you have full right to have your opinion. But if I have unknowingly hurt you, that wasn’t my intention. I would like to urge the people who were hurt by the film, to watch it again and try to understand what we wanted to say and how positive our message was regarding faith and religion. So I am not apologizing because I said anything wrong in the film but because we unintentionally hurt people feeling’s,”

Majority of the public feels the film deserves all the credit in the world to point out such subject for the people to realize the true nature of religion and faith instead of chasing after something unknown with blind faith.
