Broken Horeses – Breakthrough in Hollywood for Indian Director
Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has produced such blockbuster films as PK and 3 Idiots, has become the first Indian filmmaker to write, produce, and direct a mainstream Hollywood film—Broken Horses. The film, with an international star cast, has earned the praise of Hollywood veterans James Cameron (known for blockbuster like Titanic and Avatar) and Alfonso Cuaron (Director of Gravity), for whom the movie was screened recently.
The film rotates around the bonds of brotherhood, the laws of loyalty, and the futility of violence in the shadows of the US Mexico border gang wars. The film has been written by Chopra and Abhijat Joshi and is based on an original story by Chopra. Film is set to release on April 10th.
