‘Care Of Footpath’ named lateral Oscar entry.

It’s going to be a double boost for India at the upcoming 88th Academy Awards. After Chaitanya Tamhane’s Marathi film ‘Court’, actress Esha Deol starrer Kannada film ‘Care Of Footpath 2′ has been selected as a lateral entry for the Academy Awards.

Directed by Guinness World Record making director Kishan Shrikanth, best known by his screen name Master Kishan, ‘Care Of Footpath 2’ is a sequel of the 2006 film ‘Care of Footpath’ and also features actress Avika Gor.

‘Care of Footpath 2’ will release in Hindi as ‘Kill Them Young’.

‘Court’ has been announced as India’s official entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category for Oscars.
