Deepika Padukone honored as “Women of the Year”

Deepika Padukone dazzled as she was honored at the GQ Awards night in Mumbai. She was honored with the “Woman of the Year” award and we believe that she just fits the bill.

Deepika had come for the event dressed in an evening gown resembling a fairy princess to the tee. The sleeveless figure hugging gown had a ruffle design on the front and her hair was simply combed straight down with a mid-parting. Her eyes were given the dark, smoked look. Her nude lips and make up brightened up naturally in her dress and she seemed perfect.

This year the actor had begun with the Vogue Women Empowerment video that had women featuring from various walks of life. Deepika had given the voice over and had even featured on it. Though there were few controversial points in the video, still, the actor looked glamorous in it.

Deepika then made heads turn with her role of a girl next door in Piku who had to face the challenge of staying with a cumbersome father. Now she is busy with the post-production work of her upcoming film, Bajirao Mastani, that is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and that also stars her real life beau, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
When she was asked about her good friend, Priyanka Chopra’s role in Quantico, Deepika had gone all in support of the actor.
