DiCaprio headed to New Delhi
The girls in Delhi are in for a treat as Hollywood star Leonardo Di Caprio will be in Delhi on October 29. No, it’s not a prank!
The 40 year old Titanic superstar will be in the Capital for four days to shoot for a yet-to-be-titled documentary on climate change. According to reports, the documentary will explore the crisis of our time in a way that has never been done before.
During his visit, the actor, who has been actively campaigning for climate change over the years, will also meet the director general of the Center for Science and Environment, Sunita Narain. “Our focus will be on Narain’s work, establishing the principle of equity in the framework convention on climate change,” a producer of the film had said.
This will be Leonardo’s second documentary film, after he produced The Eleventh Hour . This film will focus on “candid conversations with people who move and shake this world, as well as the innovators, who are trying to find a solution to fix the global climate crisis”.
“They’ve just informed me that they will be in Delhi on October 29 and 30 and will come over to CSE for a sit-down interview,” Narain was quoted as saying.
