motion and Motion has creates a wonder blend is proven by director who has created such wonderful films in his career. The movie is not a story but a local life narrated with classy dialogues and admirable script. Cinematography is excellent and a touch of nostalgic moments is worth of millions. Music is not so important part of the film, yet it is been effectively used. Songs are very much situational and fits to the scene.
A common family story of a retired 70 years man (Mr. Bachchan) previously working at ITC Calcutta, is now staying at Delhi with her Daughter (Miss Padukone) who is an Architect and running her partnership firm. Business and family, both has its priority and frustration is its byproduct. Managing life and staying happy is what comes out of the film. Irfan Khan, another family troubled man, has a very good supporting role in the film and his logical arguments is a must watch.
This movie is not meant for all, bollywood masala movie lovers will not find it very interesting. But on the note of acting, Mr. Bachchan has beaten all his past acts and especailly his bengali accent added extra credits. Deepika in her decent looks, acted beautifully and was more naturally expressive than in her any other movie.
As as infant or in very early age of life, our parents might have tolerated many of our activities, acts or bla bla’s, decently without frustration. So why can’t it be observed in reverse, so that children tolerate the same of their parents. A story of two characters “Piku” and “Bhaskor Banerjee”, daughter-father relationship and constipation. Film full Drama, Comedy, Emotions and constipation, is a eye soother to watch. For all actors in the film and their wonderful performances, i recommend it as must watch and find out the hidden agenda of constipation.
