Tiger and Hrithik’s pairing on Silver screen is a phenomena us cine lovers have been long waiting for.
Finally it came true with WAR and the hype has been unstoppable since the release of its initial trailer.
War is the story of an unrelenting Indian Soldier Kabir played by Hrithik Roshan, touted as the best and how he goes rogue killing his own countrymen without much explanation.
There is only one man who can stop him and it is his prodigy Khalid played by Tiger Shroff. Follow Spotlife Asia for the latest Entertainment and Lifestyle news.
Khalid’s father was a traitor who once attacked Kabir during a mission but luckily due to Khalid’s moms suspicion and her immediately informing the Indian Army, crisis was averted and Khalid’s dad was killed in retaliation of an attack by Kabir.
Khalid is now determined to bring back the lost glory to his family and most importantly his mom who has for years had her head bowed down in shame.
Kabir is initially reluctant to onboard Khalid to his team knowing what his father did. However Colonel Luthra played by Ashutosh Rana convinces Kabir otherwise.
War is captivating from its very initial scene. Both Tiger and Hrithik make their entries with much aplomb garnering much yelling and whistles from the theatre audience. The tone is set for what is to be an exhilarating ride and the movie rarely disappoints during its due course.
The movie is beautifully shot in various foreign locations. There are scenes with Hrithik and Tiger beating up terrorists hand in hand and Hrithik flying atop planes.
While these may appear insane to many but these scenes are shot as convincingly as they possibly could have.
The action is the highlight of the movie with various set pieces being perfectly executed.
Tiger Shroff has perhaps given the best performance of his acting career. This is a very unique role to what he has played in the past and he never disappoints during the course of the movie.
Vaani and Ashutosh Rana are convincing in the short role presented to them.
But it is Hrithik Roshan who is the main star of the movie. It is his movie from start to finish and he brings all his years of experience and swag to the character of Kabir. Leaving us in much awe of him.
Director Siddharth Anand delivers a film meant to attract both masses and multiplex audience guaranteed to make this a big success.
War is an action film Bollywood has been long waiting for and with Tiger and Hrithik’s golden pairing as well as superlative performance this is to be a guaranteed Box office success. A must must watch
