Siddharth Shukla – “Im not getting Married”

Actor Siddharth Shukla, who is seen hosting an ongoing reality show, says that he has no plans to get married at the moment. The 34-year-old says that neither he nor his family is in any rush to get him married.

“I have no plans of marriage at the moment as I don’t think I am ready. I am not seeing anyone, nor is my mom on a lookout for girls for me. She is also okay with me not getting married right now. In fact, for her it will just be an added person to take care of,” said Shukla. 

While there were a lot of reports of Siddharth throwing tantrums on the set of his last fiction show, the actor says that he never bothered clarifying any of these.

“The track of my character ended, which is why I left the show. There was nothing else. I never bothered clarifying my side as there was nothing to clarify. When someone takes a decision and they are not sure, that is when these stories come out,”

While he enjoys his work, Siddharth feels that the industry is unpredictable.

“This is the toughest thing about this profession, it is very unpredictable where work is concerned. But I guess you learn to deal with it. It all depends on where you are in your career. At times you can afford to take a break,” he says.

Siddharth adds, “Another thing tough for a public person is that there are too many expectations from you as an actor and as a person.”
