Sunidhi Chauchan Press Conference for Aga Khan Foundation
Singer Sunidhi Chauchan attended a press conference in Atlanta, GA in support of The Aga Khan Foundation which hosted its annual Walk and Run Event in on Sunday, September 18th. The Walk has drawn Atlanta metro area residents for a good cause for over 20 years. Since 1995, the Aga Khan Foundation’s activities including the annual Walk and Golf events have attracted nearly a half million participants and raised over $85 million for to help people help themselves all over the world, alleviating poverty. This years highlight also included a free concert featuring Sunidhi Chauchan which attracted thousands despite incitement weather, showing the support for this cause.
In addition, the Chairman of the Aga Khan Foundation Southeast, Mr. Irfan Merchant, answered questions about how The Aga Khan Foundation cultivates deep partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, governments and community leaders to harness the best from people of all walks of life. The charity event attracts high-level corporate executives, civic leaders, and celebrities. Working with partners, the Foundation makes long-term commitments to innovative programs that improve the quality of life, from early childhood education to green space preservation.
