The Shotgun and Sonakshi onscreen together?

The father-daughter team are both set to play roles in A.R. Murugado’s upcoming film ‘Akira’.

Now before fans get all stirred up, we should mention the 2 wont even have a single shot together.  The plot has Shatrughan Sinha’s character die while Sonakshi’s character is a still a child. So all of Sinha’s scenes are with the child actor playing Sonakshi’s childhood avatar. 

Maybe the producers figured the big screen couldn’t handle a double dose of the ‘Shot Gun’?
After hearing out the appeal from Father Sinha, the film makers are looking into ways to bring the pair together for at least a few shots.
