Aamir Khan attends Women’s Summit

Aamir Khan is the only Bollywood personality to have been invited to the 3 day Women In The World Summit in NYC.

The actor, who spoke at the event, addressed the issue of tackling taboos in India. He interacted with Zainab Salbi, an Iraqi-American humanitarian, entrepreneur and author, who also happens to be the daughter of ex-Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s personal pilot.

At the event, Khan spoke to Zainab and other guests about the topic, and also his own work. For the major part of the show, the talk was about cultural taboos that he is highlighting through his TV show. The event will also see participation from other big names like Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, Freida Pinto and Hilary Clinton.
