Aussie Cricketer Brett Lee’s Bollywood premiere

Former Australian Cricketer Brett Lee announced his career change to Bollywood actor last year, and his acting talents will be revealed when his debut film ‘UNindian‘ premieres tonight.

Lee has tweeted that he is “very excited” for the premiere, following more than a year of filming and production work.

UNindian explores the complexities of cross-cultural dating, according to promoters.

“When beautiful divorcee and single mother Meera meets Will, she finds it hard to resist the tall blonde man with a charming smile…But her family has other ideas in mind, as falling in love with an Australian is not only scandalous – it’s UNindian.” – said a statement from the films production house.

The film is a joint Australian-Indian production, and has a potential audience of more than one billion people, according to the production company.

It is also being used to promote Australian tourism to India.

The advertising campaign, called Jhappi Time, claims to be responsible for a 20 percent increase in the number of Indians visiting Australia last year.
