BAPS Charities kicks off Weekend Of Giving

BAPS Charaties of kicks off its Weekend of Giving in Atlanta, GA.
As the effects of global warming and climate change become stronger across the country, BAPS Charities’ commitment to protecting the environment is even more critical.

The event kicks off on April 27th at Suntrust Park in Atlanta where they will take part in the Braves Family Night where members of the organization will join the ball club and take to the field, participating in the pre-game parade to highlight BAPS Charaties Walk Green 2019 taking place the next day on April 28th, 2019.

This year, BAPS Charities will support The Nature Conservancy’s efforts to plant one billion trees by 2025 through their Plant a Billion Trees initiative. Walk Green 2019 will help The Nature Conservancy plant 61,000 additional trees in 2019. During the last four years, from 2016 to 2019, BAPS Charities Walkathons will have helped plant a total of 361,000 trees.  

Nearly 900 local participants are expected to join in this act of community service. This event will help instill consciousness in community members surrounding their actions, in turn, inspiring global harmony with nature.
