How about The Golden Carpet?
Yes Bollywood will be walking the Golden Carpet in Dubai at the upcoming Arab Indo Bollywood Awards

Awards shows make a huge buzz worldwide and The Arab Indo Bollywood Awards (AIBA) will be a first of its kind making a sincere effort to promote Indian Cinema in the Arab World.

It’s known that the intention behind AIBA presenting Bollywood awards is to create an immense bond between the countries and the film industry.  We as Asians and/or Indian cinema fans should be proud to see that we have created a space for ourselves in the world of entertainment.

According to Abdullatif Alsayegh, chairperson of AIBA, the awards show will be held on April 10, 2015 at the prestigious Dubai World Trade Centre, It will be telecast across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), an alliance of six Middle Eastern countries-Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

The Jury members selecting the awards include Tigmanshu Dhulia (Director of Paan Singh Tomar), Arbaaz Khan, Goldie Behl, Sreedhar Raghavan, Javed Jaffery, Shyam Shroli and Bollywood trade analyst Komal Nahta.  There will be 25 trophies which will be split across the categories of Main, Technical and Special Awards.  Voting will be chosen 50% by the jury members and 50% by residents of the UAE by either online or via 100 ballot boxes that will be palaced around the country.

So far AIBA is expecting lot of big stars yet it’s not known which will be making it to the Golden carpet.  Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are expected by UAE residents due their popularity in Dubai.
