Gwyneth Paltrow’s Ski Trial Win

Gwyneth Paltrow’s civil trial has finally come to an end after she won her ski collision case. In 2016, retired optometrist Terry Sanderson and the Oscar-winning actor collided in a ski accident at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Sanderson sued Paltrow over the brain injury he sustained.

Paltrow talked about how she was on a ski trip with her kids, then-boyfriend, and his children. She testified that during the first day in Deer Valley, she had two other skis come between her’s and felt someone against her back right before they both crashed.

Sanderson, on the other hand, testified that Paltrow hit his back right at his shoulder blades. He said he’s never been hit that hard before. He did have to dispute claims that he only sued the actress for the money and fame. Both the plaintiff and defendants’ children were asked to be testify as witnesses.

Sanderson sued for $3.2 million, meanwhile Paltrow sued back for $1 in damages. The court ruled in Paltrow’s favor on Thursday. On the way out, Paltrow was seen putting her hand on Sanderson’s shoulder and wishing him well.
