India’s leadership role in the aid of Nepal
It’s always a proud moment when a country not only stands up to be the change but races to aid for another country that’s faces tragic natural disaster. US said ‘India has demonstrated its Global Leadership’. Nepal thanks India by saying, ‘India’s help was like extending a blank cheque (check) to us’. New Delhi dispatched the Indian Air Force’s first C-130J super Hercules aircraft with members of the National Disaster Response Force within four hours of the earthquake on April 25. India contributes 300 soldiers, along with three army field hospitals and civilian doctors were sent from India to Nepal to prevent higher death toll than what it is. Indian Air Force is bringing relief to survivors, assisting injured to clinics, taking emergency supplies to remote villages effected by the quake and evacuated close to 3000 people from Nepal. These are just few aiding efforts described and hearing just that makes any countryman proud of his or her country.
Additionally, Indian Army doctor made it to Mount Everest to save lives. And, as expected the Indian film industry celebrities take over social media to raise funds for Nepal Relief. Spotlife Asia readers and follower please help in any way you can to make a bit of difference for Nepal victims.
