Movie Review: NH10

Rating: 3.8/5

Genre: Crime/Drama/Mystery/Thriller

Here’s a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat through out the movie. The film is cinematically so real and realistically so genuine. You are sure to see one intense ride throughout the movie and an amazing outpour of acting by none other than Anushka Sharma as Meera. Her career is definitely on the rise after such a unique role in NH10, a film story inspired by Eden Lake. Neil Bhoopalam as Arjun fits perfect for husband’s role. Darshan Kumaar, plays perfect barbarian/villain that stands out and at the same time scares millions. Deepti Naval, as always does a great justice to her role in all her movies. In this one the legendary actress gives you chills at times in her short but significant role as Ammaji.

The soundtracks is not different and has songs like Khoney De’ and ‘Le Chal Mujhe’ which are soft & dark, it has romantic melody like ‘Kya Karein’ and a bit unique piece like ‘Me Jo’. Finally, the rock song that has already been popular before the movie release ‘Chhil Gaye Naina’ and another song that’s little on the edge is ‘Maati ka Palang’.

Over all, director Navdeep Singh has done a great job keeping the film true to it plot and more realistic. For people who loves a drama mystery thriller with a bit of horror then this is the movie for you. You will come out with courage after watching this fearful movie so do go watch it.
