New Apple Vision Pro

Apple just announced its launch of the new Apple Vision Pro. It is a mixed reality headset and Apple’s first spatial computer becoming the first major new device that the company has come out with in over a decade. According to Apple, it “seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space.”

Much like other virtual reality headsets, the slivery curved goggles allow users to experience moments in 3D. Apps can be arranged however the user sees fit creating their perfect workspace to enhance efficiency . It can be also used for entertainment purposes with the feeling of being transported into movies, tv shows, or video games, especially with its spatial audio.

This device is also Apple’s first 3D camera. It can capture pictures and videos in 3D, which can be accessed later when someone wants to relive those moments. This also means that FaceTime video boxes are life-size and can be expanded around the room. FaceTime can also be used simultaneously with other apps to work on things at the same time.

The headset will go on the market in early 2024 in the US for $3500 as they will expand to other countries soon after. With other companies such as Meta, Microsoft, and Samsung already in the virtual reality game, consumers will have to wait and see how Apple’s product will compare in paving the road for futuristic technology.
