SAB Enters new Bollywood Markets

Having consolidated themselves as a big and reputed name in the TV space, Sri Adhikari Brothers (SAB) had forayed into Bollywood productions and now there is yet another important business development. This media company is also venturing into worldwide distribution of films with Anand Pandit of Lotus Group.
Their first release will be Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which they have acquired from Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The sequel to the successful PKP, the second part that has Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonalli Sehgall, Ishita Sharma and Omkar Kapoor, will release on October 16. Produced by Abhishek Pathak and Luv Ranjan, this one is an edgy take on real life situations related to reel friendships and relationships.

“For long, we have been synonymous with TV, production and broadcast. We are now moving forward to make our company a comprehensive media conglomerate. With seven movies already in the pipeline, distribution was a natural progression to stamp our commitment in Bollywood”  – said Markand Adhikari, Vice Chairman of SAB.

Their production Great Grand Masti is in the last stage of filming. Besides this, the Adhikari Brothers also have an impressive array of movies lined up for both production and distribution in the time to come.
