Dev Patel on day time ABC show 'The Chew'

Dev Patel, staring in ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ made a special guest appearance on day time’s ABC show ‘The Chew’, and yes he just had to break out some Bollywood dance moves like “screwing the light bulb” dance step.

While cooking it up with Clinton and Carla making ‘Chicken and Dumplings’ Dev discussed his interesting family history which he calls “a blend from all over”…though his family is of Indian Heritage, his parents were born in Nirobi and met in London, his grandparents were born in India & Patel who was born in England tells the Chew’s hosts how “national dish” in Great Britian is Chicken Tikka Masala.

Dev was on the show to talk about his newly released movie ‘CappiE’ in which he plays A robotics engineer who’s robotic police “Scouts” keep the peace in the violent slums of Johannesburg.

His currently released movie The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was a blessing for Dev Patel specially being around and sharing the screen with all the incredible actors including Richard Gere, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, and Bill Nighy.
