During the filming of Aashiqui 2, director Mohit Suri had presented a guitar to Kapoor as a gift, ever since he has been in love with the instrument.

Kapoor is known for his passion for music and love for the instrument, in fact its also known that he composes music during his free time as well. Recently when a close friend wanted to present a new guitar to Kapoor, he politely declined responding that the gift from director friend Mohit Suri held a special place for him and couldn’t imagine another taking its place.
