Fat Burning Delicious Snacks

Are there really fat burning snacks or meals? Well any snacks that are high in Protein and Fiber can act as a fat burning snack. Intake of Protein with exercise actually fuels the growth of lean muscle mass, which boosts metabolic rate and increases calorie burn. Fiber on the other hand is good for digestion and it keeps you from indulging on fats and sugars. So in short, the combination of both helps body operate at maximum efficiency that would also prevent fat to stick around. Hence you got yourself a fat burning snacks or meals.

Recommended snacks are Apples,
Almonds, Sunflower or Pumpkin seeds, slim milk which are all high in protein and fiber.

One Avocado with 2 ounce of 1% cottage cheese has about 9 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber.

Humus and pita makes a great snack that fills you up well and has 7 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber in 5oz serving size.

Chicken pita Sandwich: half a chicken pita sandwich with some veggies like spinach, red/green peppers, tomatoes etc has about 3 grams of fiber and more than 20 grams of protein.

Chicken pita sandwich can be replaced with Chicken Salad if it fits your appetite better. Also, lean proteins such as Tofu and eggs can be replaced for Chicken.

In addition, if you are a beans lover then one cup of boiled black beans contains 1 gram of fat, 15 grams of fiber and 15 grams of protein. One cup of cooked Lentils contains 16 grams of fiber and 18 grams of protein.
