Sholay Releases 40 Yrs After

The most reputable and blockbuster hit that became the most watched film ‘Sholay’ finally releases after 40 yrs in Pakisthan.  It was sure that the film has not lost it’s charm and value as the first week of release, it grossed 4.5 million Pakistani rupees (thought it’s much less than what today’s blockbuster hit would make).

Pakistan had banned Indian films after the 1965 war between the two countries but now there has been some flexibility in such policy which made it possible for Mandviwala Entertainment to show ‘Sholay’.

Kitne Adami The?  Ye Haatg Hamko De De Thakur!  Tera Kya Hoga Kaaliya? And many more iconic dialogue of Sholay made Sholay what it is today.  On top of it starred legendary stars like Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan , Dharmendra, Jaya Bhaduri, Hema Malini, Amjad Khan.  There no reason not to bring the iconic film alive back in theaters.  And sources say that it was a mere unconditional love and interest for the film that Nadeem Mandviwala strived to bring Sholay to Pakistan.  This surely show anything can be achieved if you put your heart to it and fans can be united with their favorite film even though it may take 40 years.
