The Chopra family is well known for some super Bollywood hits such as “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” and may soon be know for something else, Film School.
“We have several new projects in the preliminary discussion stage, education being one of them, but no project has gone beyond the exploratory phase.”
The Chopra production house which includes the Late Yash Chopra, brothers Aditya and Uday and Rani Mukerji (wife of Aditya) have been a source for learning and mentor ship to upcoming film makers and now are looking to est
ablish a formal center for film education which would be of international calibre.
Rani Mukerji would be the brand ambassador of the school. “Plans are already in motion; details are being drawn up regarding the kind of courses that will be offered, and the reputed technicians that can be brought on board as lecturers.”
