Unusual PR of 'Piku'
The shoot for the PR of ‘Piku’ has begun and there are some most unusual works being done. Today we were a part of it along with Deepika and Irrfan. Unfortunately I am not permitted to expose them here, but may I just say that they all look rather unusual and hilarious!! Said Amitabh Bachchan.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the upcoming film ‘Piku’ is a Comedy-drama portraying a crazy father – daughter relationship where you will see a pair of Big B and Deepika once again. Irrfan Khan to play in a pivotal role and Moushumi Chatterjee will be an added delight as Big B’s Sister-in-law. The films is slated to release April 30th, 2015.
Big B who never seems to fail in surprising his fans will be in a very interesting character with a pot belly in Piku. Major portion of the film has been shot in Kolkata…yes you heard right Kolkata! We are expecting Deepika once again in another unique accent. After paying iconic Tamilian in ‘Chennai Express’, Gujarati in ‘RamLeela’, Goan Catholic in ‘Finding Fanny’, Maharashtrian in ‘Happy New Year’, Deepika is now to play the lovely Begali in Piku…her accent is sure to add icing to the cake.
