Ways to celebrate fall

It seems like everyone is always ready for fall. When the heat becomes unbearable, fall weather saves the day. So, how can you take advantage of these next few months of cooler weather and beautiful scenery?

Go to a pumpkin patch. There’s no reason not to. Nothing says fall like a hay ride to a field of pumpkins. It’s also the perfect place to get artsy and aesthetic pictures taken. If you have kids and take them, those memories will stay with them forever. if pumpkin picking isn’t exactly up your alley, there’s always apple picking. Almost every state has Apple orchards that allow families to come choose their favorite apples. Then you could use the apples to make fall dishes, like apple pie, apple fritters, or apple cake.

Once it gets closer to Halloween, festive opportunities multiply. A spooky walk is my favorite thing to do each year. Haunted houses are also a great option when you need a good scare. Make sure to do research ahead of time, some houses and walks are not worth the money. If you are feeling like you want to stay in, most streaming services have a ‘Halloween’ category to make your search easy. Nothing says Halloween like watching horror movies and eating candy corn.

Last but certainly not least, one of the most Important ways to get into the Fall spirit is to decorate your home. It doesn’t take much. Simply some orange and yellow flowers can make a huge difference. You can even make your own decorations for cheap. The dollar store has considerable decoration options that can stand alone by themself or be used together with others to make something new. Crafts are a perfect way to pass time.

Trust me, once your house feels like fall you’ll never want winter to come. Celebrating fall is both easy and fun. Research specific activities going on in your town and fill up your calendar. Autumn deserves us to celebrate it, it’s the season that has everything
